The oxidative degradation of fats (lipo-oxidation) has a negative influence on fat and feed quality. Susceptibility to oxidative processes is highly dependant on the fat content and the fatty acid composition of the fats or feed.

To prevent a reduction in taste and smell through rancidness, MAIVIT GmbH has developed mixes of antioxidants which act specifically made from synergistically acting antioxidants in combination with chelating agents. Using the MiaRadOx® product line fats/oils and feeds containing fats can be effectively stabilised with regard to the oxidative deterioration in order to guarantee the long-term fat or feed quality.
