First introduced back in 1972 upon the foundation of our company, the name MIAVIT is nothing more than an abbreviation of minerals, amino acids and vitamins - the fields we´re experts in. MIAVIT has grown to become a strong brand representing competence and reliability in premixes, special feed, feed additives, minerals, liquids and vitamins.

Absolute precision is a necessary requirement in the dosage of unprocessed goods due to the numerous different recipes. Due to the direct interconnection of the production plants with the electronic data processing, short-term modifications in the recipes can immediately be incorporated into the production. Our products are regularly examined by certified laboratories. Furthermore a careful selection of unprocessed goods and distributors as well as a high grade of automatisation ensure the continuous high quality of our products.
MIAVIT world-wide
Outside from Germany we grew and want to grow further, too. That’s why our export activities increased strongly within the last years. In 2003, the export ortion of our annual turnover was about two per cent; in 2009 it already grew up to 38 per cent!
Now we supply to nearly all parts of the world. Meanwhile particularly the asiatic and eastern european area, but also Africa and North America are supplied by MIAVIT. To keep the new customers satisfied our export staff has been enhanced. In order to communicate as fast as possible with our partners in Russia, Asia and Eastern Europe, we opened an agency in Moscow (Russia) in December 2006 as well as 2009 a branch in Prague (Czech Republic) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
As a further step in the opening of international markets, the sales contract on the premix production plant of BASF in the Spanish city of Tarragona was signed in December 2008. MIAVIT is thus taking over the premix-business from BASF in Spain and Portugal. Starting in October 2009 the plant in Spain will be commence production under the name MIAVIT Nutrición Animal S.L.
