By the end of 2010 Miavit received the results of a trial, which had been carried out in Mexico with our product Circolin^®. The results, in piglets after weaning, were supplied by Universidad Autónoma de México and show a clear improvement in performance for the Circolin^® group, achieved by a significant higher average daily gain and also a significantly reduced feed conversion ratio.

 

 

The results, as displayed here, show the average values of two groups in the trial. The average lengths of the tests were 55.53 and 53.55 days, for the Circolin^® and control groups, respectively.

There was a similar feed intake in both treatments, but with a highly improved FCR in the Circolin^® group, which led to a much higher ADG. Finally, Circolin^® piglets were 2 kg heavier compared to the control group at the same age.

The sustaining effect of Circolin^® on the liver (one of the most important metabolic organs, which is involved in a wide range of functions including detoxification, protein synthesis, and also with a major role on the regulation of fat absorption, glycogen synthesis and breakdown) may explain these results.
