Since October 1st, 2009 our new premix plant in Tarragona, Spain, is producing under the MIAVIT label.

 

BASF has sold its animal nutrition premix business and production plant located in the industrial complex of Tarragona. The sale took place within the context of restructuring the BASF's animal nutrition business on a worldwide level, which was initiated in 2007.

 

At the Spanish production site we produce premixes for the feed industry. The plant in Tarragona, employing 26 people, covers the Spanish and Portugese market and produces 15.000 tons per year. Currently the plant has a turnover of app. 20 Mio. EUR.
