Mia-OVODUR

news-miaovodur-eierPoor eggshell quality is often observed in older hens, during their second laying period. This is a result of reduced calcium absorption. Due to a degeneration of the mucosal surface of the intestines, older hens are no longer able to absorb sufficient quantities of calcium.

Mia-OVODUR offers a highly digestible source of calcium. Due to its porous structure, it has a very large surface that enables complete release and absorption of the calcium. In addition, Mia-OVODUR contains important trace elements necessary for the shell formation.

To regenerate the intestinal flora and stimulate the growth of the intestinal villus, Mia-OVODUR contains a capsuled short chain fatty acid. As a result of the increased absorption surface, the calcium intake and calcium content in the blood are increased.

A large part of the organic phosphorus in cereal products is available as phytic acid. This creates not readily soluble compounds with calcium. The enzymes in Mia-OVODUR dissolve the complexes, and the calcium becomes available for the body.
